Southern Queensland, Straya, March 2017

Some more snaps taken during a couple of days in southern Queensland.  The camping where I took this photo of star trails was home to two things in particular: very, verynoisy possums and a great stream that dug itself in some rocks.. so we had some great refreshing pools to cool off during the day. No photos of the pools, so you’ll have to do with these stars. The day after I hiked up a nearby hill in Mt Barney National park. It wasn’t Barney himself, but steep enough. Barney himself was hidden in the clouds. Steep track, for real. Here’s Barney. Shy Barney. The entire GPS track is accessible here . Looks like I didn’t log height.. eh. Over 500m height difference it seems.

Best photo: everyone has a microwave as mailbox.
